Secluded Riverfront Home - Boquete area with Pool

The location is as described in the listing as secluded. It’s secluded ….very secluded and extremely remote. The owner met us at a designated spot as he promised so we could follow him. We had no idea the listing was about a kilometre off the road on a dirt road to the property. If there was an emergency during anyone’s stay there, emergency response would never find you. These things should appear in the listing. The property itself is beautiful. The house is large and somewhat inviting but is very “tired” and smelled of being closed up for a period of time. The pool and hot tubs were not working, and in our opinion in need of a facelift. The pictures are not representative of the actual. The kitchen was adequate but all the cooking utensils we needed to use were stored in a drawer with smells from being closed up. There is no air conditioning, but several fans. However someone with respiratory issues would likely experience issues. Walter the owner, was very willing to negotiate with us in cancelling our stay. He was very kind, and promised to return our money which he did the next morning. Overall, the house I think could be just amazing, with a facelift and updating. And as I said, anyone interested in renting should be fully aware of the remote location and lack of availability get any emergency medical or any other emergency help..

What an absolutely stunning home and property. It was a bit further then we had expected and the driveway down tothe house was questionable when arriving after dark
